If I asked you, what is the purpose of your network marketing business, what would you say?
I would expect to hear a variety of answers like…
“To pay the bills.”
“To have the finer things in life.”
“To have the freedom.”
“To change people lives.”
If you do know what you’re purpose is, consider yourself to be abnormal.
Most simply do not have a true purpose.
I am going to help you discover what that purpose is.
Before I considered entering the home business industry, I had a reason. This is the first part.
My reason was to escape the rat race competing in a never-ending maze.
I wanted freedom to have all of my successes on my shoulders, no one else’s shoulders.
With that reason, I needed to find out how network marketing was going to help me with that.
I knew that there some flexibility with being in business for yourself.
Check -there’s that freedom I was looking for.
I also knew having a home business, you basically dictate how much success you can have.
Check - there’s the success factor I was after.
This was great, but what purpose would my network marketing business bring to the world.
This is the second part.
What if I could sell a product that would make a difference on the world.
Bingo!
From that I thought how selling a product could make a difference and it brought me to the conclusion that, if someone tried my product or joined my team, I can drastically change their life.
Bingo!
I had my purpose.
My purpose was to positively change the lives of many.
When running my business there are two things I do to ensure I’m fulfilling that.
For the home business seekers, I look to see if what we have can make a difference for them. If it can, then we are on the right path.
For the product users, I looked to see if what I had can make a difference to their well being. If so, then we’re also on the right path.
Following these two approaches helps me stick to my purpose.
I firmly believe having a purpose is important if you intend to be successful in your network marketing business.
Do you think you can NOW discover what your purpose for network marketing can bring for you?

Hey Jerome,
This is a great topic!
It is difficult to maintain focus on something if you don’t have a purpose. Now, I’m not saying you can’t.
Sometimes it takes time for a new person to know what is their purpose. At the beginning, it’s to earn more money. Then it transform into something bigger.
Chat with you later…
Josh
Hey there Josh,
Yes, finding their true purpose will take time, and it’s a process one should not dismiss.
And you never know what this can mean, it can even mean they are not in the right line of business. Whatever it is, take notice of it.
Catch you later,
Jerome Ratliff
Hi Jerome,
Purpose is HUGE — it’s the only thing that will keep you going!
My purpose is to become the best I can be and to positively effect a lot of people’s lives.
It’s not just about the money — it’s also about the fun and the adventure of it!
Great purpose Derek.
I once thought money was the driver, but it really isn’t. It’s just the vehicle.
Jerome Ratliff
Derek said it right in his comment, that this business is not all about the money, but the relationships you will build and the lives you can transform starting with your own. Really great post and important for those struggling to keep their business going right now.
Eric
Hey Eric,
You said that right. It’s about much more then money.
Jerome
Jerome,
Well said there. Without a purpose your home business is a non-starter! Many under estimate the power in it.
Great post my friend.
Wayne Vassell, signing out…
I never thought of it that way…
“Without a purpose your home business is a non-starter!”
I like that Wayne.

Purpose is the foundation to your why.
When you take time to really focus on what your purpose everything else becomes easier.
When the going gets tough your purpose will have your back and help you out.
Great post Jerome
Putting Value First
Dwayne
Dwayne,
That’s for sure. It does become easier.
Jerome Ratliff
Hey Jerome,
Great Post. Without a clear defined purpose there is no real desire or determination. Purpose is like a compass needle. You must have the determination to stay the course, and the desire to get to your destination.
Thanks much Chris.
For my business, purpose equals desire where my desire is to make a positive difference on many people’s lives.
Talk to you later,
Jerome Ratliff
