As I was sitting here doing some research for a project I’ve been working on, I realized how business opportunity seekers really need to understand:
How to Avoid Network Marketing Scams
Once the business opportunity seekers are subjected to the realm of home businesses, they find themselves inundated with crap network marketing scams.
There’s the pyramid schemes where if you sign-up a distributor and they sign-up a distributor, etc. everyone would get paid based on the person they just enrolled and the people who enrolled below them.
This is a scam and totally illegal. In order to be legit, they must have customers as well as distributors. The customers must also buy a legit product. Preferrably something that will provide much benefit.
Then there’s the cash gifting programs that basically runs in the same format where you get cash gifted to you.
When these network marketing scams surface, these should be avoided at all costs. For the business opportunity seekers, you want to work with a network marketing business that has a customer base too.
When it comes to picking the right company to join forces with, what will help you with choosing the right company is by doing all of your necessary homework about the business.
You want to…
- See and listen to what their customers are saying about them.
- Learn what the companies vision is.
- Determine how long they have been in business.
- Make sure they do not promote get rich schemes.
Network marketing scams can certainly be avoided by following these measures.
In addition, you have been equipped with a gut feeling.
Can Your Gut Feeling Help?
That gut feeling can sometimes tell you if it’s the right thing to do or not. When you get that bad gut feeling, trust it.
So, if you’re not feeling right about a business opportunity someone is trying to sell you on and it just doesn’t sound right, end the conversation right there.
There’s a good chance if your gut feeling is telling you something, it may be saying, “Hey this may be one of those network marketing scams.”
Just go with your intuition, because at the end of the day you need to feel good about your decision. The last thing you want is regret.
Having this gut feeling instinctly can really help you, especially if you are already in network marketing.
Because you know what your target audience needs to be aware of, you can harness that by working with your prospects and providing them details about your business and it’s history.
This is when your presentation will come in very handy.
Your prospect wants to know that they are working with a legit company and not one of those network marketing scams.
If you could provide your prospects with this sort of information, backed by proof and evidence, you will ease your prospect’s minds knowing they are joining forces with the right team and business.
If you choose to not take this approach, your prospect may tend to believe you may be one of those network marketing scams.
So, it’s your choice what you want to do. The best approach is to make your prospects aware of your business and how you operate.
Talk about separating yourself from the network marketing scams!!!
