I just returned from the store and I heard the infamous words, “I can’t”.
This mom’s daughter was asking her if she can have some new shoes, and the mom said, “I can’t afford it”.
Every time I hear these words I cringe. The first thing that comes to the mind is, the message you are really sending is, I won’t.

Talk about confusion!
Somewhere on the internet, I don’t recall where, but I saw these network marketers holding up a gravestone that says, “Here lies I can’t.”
I love that, because it really gets you wondering how these people are thinking now that they have eliminated the “I can’t” words from their vocabulary.
I’m sure it’s made quite a difference.
Here’s why:
…It allows your creative mind to think of how can you.
…It allows you to be careful with the decisions you are making.
…It allows you to focus on possibilities versus limitations.
…It allows you to eliminate negative behaviors.
It just plain ole helps you get out of the wrong mindset.
As a network marketer being in the right mindset can mean the difference of being successful versus saying you are going to be successful.
Having this right mindset in your business sets the stage for how you run your business and who you are as person.
How You Can Eliminate “I Can’t”
When I find myself getting stuck in a rut in my business and life for that matter, where I’m thinking of “I can’ts”, I stop it right there because these words can be a big buzz kill to your network marketing biz.
Here’s what I do to REMOVE “I can’t”…
* Interject the “I can’t” feeling with how can you. Focus your energy on there always being a solution, even when you think there may not be one.
* Challenge yourself when you think you can’t. Determine why you are thinking this way. Whatever it is, it will help you get to the root cause for this feeling and eliminate it.
The more you can follow and put these to use, the better you will be in your MLM business.
You will no longer be thinking I can’t…
* because you don’t have enough time.
* because you don’t have enough money.
* because you’re not smart enough.
* because you don’t have the experience.
* because you don’t have the know how.
The best thing you can ever do for your network marketing business is to stop yourself every single time you say or think “I can’t”.
It won’t be easy, but neither is anything else that is entirely new to you.
And, if you happen to hear anyone else who is close to you saying “I can’t”, then challenge them.
See if they can come up with an answer to their problem.
See if they can eliminate “I can’t” from their vocabulary.
