More people these days are turning away from the typical job and are looking for more opportunities.
Is the answer to start your home business?
No one can tell you for sure or force you to do something you don’t want to do.
Besides, if you’re not willing to put in the time and effort, why even bother then. Right?
However, what if you have a burning desire within you that is dying to come out.
The desire for change.
The desire to make a difference.
The desire to feel fulfilled.
The desire to give it your all.
Then the answer might be for you to start your home business.
5 Steps to Start Your Home Business
1. Define your passion and pursue that field.
Enjoying what you do because it resonates with your mission is really critical to your success. Yes you can still be successful by not choosing to pick the field you are passionate about.
However, what we are looking for is not just success but also happiness. So why not go for happiness and success at the same time. And choosing to do this step will get you there.
2. Seek out a leader.
Why in a world a leader? They are the ones that work with you in creating a plan that works and utilizes your strengths. They are your guiding force.
With their help you will be one step closer to success. Everyone’s goal with their home business is to also become a leader. We are a big advocate of this philosophy in our home business.
We believe anyone is capable of being a leader if they are just willing to give it their all.
3. Have a strong enough why.
Getting involved in the home business realm you must have a reason. It can be for your family, it can be to enjoy what you do, it can be to have more freedom.
Whatever it is, it has to be something you feel really strong enough about so that you know that you will succeed no matter what.
Having a strong enough why is only going to make this fun game that much more enjoyable.
4. Write out a plan for your goals.
Can you imagine going somewhere without knowing where you intend to end up? Then why not have a plan for your goals and dreams as well.
When you write down your plans you will find yourself treating this as your accountability partner. One caveat is your plan needs to be so specific that it feels real to you.
How to do this is imagine a day in the future and write about it as if you’re there and you just achieved that goal. That’s being specific.
And when you do, you’ll live up to where you would like to be.
5. Be willing to go the extra mile with the intention of giving.
Everything you will ever get will be a result of you doing absolutely nothing. No way!
Take this blog or my home business as an example. None of this would not be here if it wasn’t for the support I have.
But why do I have this support?
It’s because we believe in going the extra mile and giving. We’ve given so much. We are sowing seeds. And you know what happens after you’ve sowed the seeds and harvested the field, right?
This is why you want to do this, plus you are making a difference for everyone else as well.
These five steps to start your home business is what every successful leader in the home business industry has done.
It’s essential. It’s what will allow great things to happen for you.
There is one more which we did not include and here it is:
6. Take inspired action.
This last one is expected to be done in order to carry out any of the five steps.
However, we’ve seen a lot of people get involved in a home business, follow these five steps and wait for wonders to happen.
Wonders can happen, but they will only happen if you’re taking inspired action.
What is inspired action after all?
It is when you feel and know it’s necessary to do certain things that may seem uncomfortable at times, but DEEP DOWN INSIDE it’s what you should do.
Call it the sixth sense or intuition, but whatever you call it, it’s happening for a reason. When this happens it’s your duty to roll with it.
So, please do not forget about doing #6 or any of these for that matter if you start your home business.
You won’t regret that you did.
In fact, you will be so pleased that you’ll look back and wonder why in the world you hadn’t done it sooner.
Don’t worry about that though, because if you’ve gotten to the point where you are so pleased and grateful, then reflect on that epiphany and keep moving forward.
Do you think if someone provided you these 6 steps that you can do this? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
Make it an awesome day my fellow readers.

These are all important steps Jerome. I think the one I believe is most important is to have a strong enough WHY. Without this, it is pretty much like taking a car on a long journey with no gas!

Great way to put it Marcus, it is important.

Hey Jerome,
There definitely will be rough patches along the way to success and we’re all going to be tested, which is why personal development is mandatory – not some group hugging positive thinking movement most people think it is.
I agree with Marcus. Having a strong “WHY” will get you through all the bumps.
Hey there Wayne,
Rough patches are to be expected and as long as you know that, it makes the process much more reassuring that everything is going to work out.

Hey Jerome,
These 5 steps are critical when starting a business. The one that stands out the most is #6 Taking Action. I’ve seen so many people just hanging out on the sidelines because they don’t want to take action…Mostly because of FEAR! A lot of people miss out on so many opportunities because of fear. I’m glad that you touched on this.
Chat with you later…

Hi Jerome,
I think these (6) steps are absolutely crucial.
Like Marcus, I also think the “why” might be the most important factor because this business can be tough sometimes… and nothing else will keep you going like a strong “why”!

I totally agree with that Derek. A “why” is essential.

I remember once upon I thought writing out a plan was ridiculous. The funny thing is, I know others are the same way and perhaps still are.

Jerome, great post
#4 is critical – You can’t get where you want to go without knowing where you’re going. Writing out you action plan and defining your goals will help you do that..
