One of the secrets I discuss in the Seven Secrets of Success in Network Marketing is the shear power of using Attraction Marketing.
However, what’s even more important before entering this, is to first have the foundation of a great network marketer laid just right.
That foundation is YOU. It’s your positive outlook on things, what value do you bring, and your vision.
Here’s how to get your foundation just right:
1. Control what you allow to enter your mind. You have the choice to allow what goes in.
2. Be on a path of continuous improvement. Hone in one skill at a time, like prospecting and recruiting, before you proceed to next.
3. See the unseen. Know exactly where you would like to be in the future. Then focus on the feeling and play it out as though it already exists.
Hey, if you have another one to add for being a great network marketer, go ahead and put that in the comment section below.

Hey Jerome,
The first one is the most important on my list. Control what you want going into my mind. I protect what goes in. That is why I read only personal development books and surround myself with people that are going somewhere.
I’ll remove myself from any elements that is going to affect my behavior.
Here is one to add to the list: Only listen to those that have fruit on their tree. To many people will talk a game without having any fruit on their tree.
Have a great weekend…

Hi Jerome,
great post. The items you mention hit the nail on its head. Unlike kids, we have control of what we allow to enter in our minds. Do we exercise this power adequately ?
Cheers

Jerome these are some real solid techniques for staying positive and focused. One I would add is monitor your feelings. These are the best gauges to me if yours goals are believable or not. I don’t care how big it is if you really “feel” you can do it you have accessed a source of power that will take you there.

Hi Jerome,
That’s a great list.
This goes along with #2, but always be increasing your value to others. It’s not all about what they can do for your bank account, it’s what you can do for them.
Great post!

Hi Jerome,
I try to follow your tips on a daily basis. I actually take breaks on the hour to paint my vision in detail.
The more I see it the more real it becomes and the more I improve as a network marketer. It’s such a natural and graceful process.
Thanks for sharing your insight

Great points Jerome. I also find that having some kind of belief (religous, spritual, philosophical) to unperpin one’s life’s values helps a great deal with helping to keep oneself and one’s business in perspective.

Those are 3 great points Jerome,
You must keep a positive attitude, constantly work to improve yourself and have a vision for where you want to go. I would even add that you should work on being consistent. Any success that you want to achieve will require you to put forth consistent action in whatever you do.
Awesome post.

Hey Jerome and everyone else who commented here.
You cannot beat having a positive mindset, a strong why and solid training as a foundation to any business venture you undertake.
The only thing I would add is to also have a strong work ethic. Some people have, some don’t.

Jerome,
I like the point you made about “always looking for improvement”. Even if you think you are the best at what you do, there can always be room for improvement.
My saying is that “no one is perfect”, practice just makes you a whole lot better.
It is something I always tell my team, especially when trying to master a marketing strategy. If you try one strategy at a time, you will improve. Next thing you know it you are the expert and able to tackle the next strategy.
Great post, must of missed this one!

Hey Tommy,
Perfect saying, “Practice just makes you a whole lot better.” It’s mighty difficult to be the perfect, but what we can do is work on being the best that we can be.
Glad you called that out.
Take care.

Hey Jerome,
Great post! One thing I like to add is that delayed qualification is a great characteristic of someone that’s successful. Every successful person went through ups, and a lot of downs but with hard work and persistant they were able to get to the promise land. Thanks for sharing!

Appreciate you sharing that.
