Network Marketer Wannabe: Hurt You or Help You

If you were to guess, which of the two following definitions can hurt you if you are a network marketer wannabe?

1. Someone who wishes to be or do something, but lacks the qualification or talent.

2. Someone who aspires to be or do something they wish to have.

The first definition can lead to a disastrous result in your business and hurt you. The second definition can have and make a profound difference in your network marketing business by helping you.  If you’re a wannabe who just wishes and fails to ever possess the talent to being a network marketer, you will go nowhere. You will be stuck in that wishful thinking mind, hoping one day that miracle will fall into your lap.

On the flipside, if you are wannabe who aspires to be and possess the talent of a successful network marketer, it can help you in growing yourself into a better person and and turning your business into something better. When you aspire to be something great, it’s essentially you making a commitment to becoming better and improving yourself. Improving yourself allows anyone to go from that wannabe state of mind into a successful network marketer.

Let’s take a look at anyone in history who has amounted to anything, and you will find they started from having something so small (aspiration), that they eventually became what they wanted to be.

All the leaders in the network marketing industry today went through this in some part of their life. Whether it was in their network marketing business or not, they experienced that. We all do and I bet you are too, if you have not already. And, as soon as they had the determination to succeed (the burning desire), there was nothing that could stop them. They were bound for greatness.

This journey is what being a network marketer wannabe is all about. It’s about making a change and willing to go through the troubles and successes that come along with the journey. This transitional period will strengthen you as a network marketer. You will be learning firsthand on how to succeed from your mentor or leader, on what to do and how to do it.

Can you imagine what it would be like if you didn’t have that guidance? :-) Where would you start? Who would you learn from? What would you learn?

It certainly makes the journey a lil’ uncomfortable, but if you have and leverage your mentor, you can make that journey a lot easier and more meaningful. It will be something that you won’t forget and it’ll be a story you can share with others who can relate.

If you find you’re nothing more than a wannabe, but aspires to be something great, then good for you. You are on the right track. Just don’t stop and keep on keeping on.
