So you got a new distributor added to your downline, what do you need to do to ensure they are successful?
First off, let me start by saying that if you have the god given talent to recruit then you can also train your distributor.
Every business should have a process / system where they engage their new and existing distributors so they can be successful in their home business. (Unfortunately, not every business has this!)
What’s really important is to get your distributor quickly involved with the business so they will feel like they can do this.
Rather than me go on and on
, I put this is in a five minute video for you.
Here it is…
What do you do to ensure your distributor gets plugged in and reaches their true level of success?

Hey Josh,
Thanks! It can really be that simple, just ensure they plugin. If they don’t you can’t blame yourself.
have a great day,
Jerome Ratliff
Hmmm, great minds think alike. I did a video today. : )
There are a few great points you make there that caught my attention.
1. Having a system to plug new distributors into.
2. Having a diverse team.
3. Making sure they understand that no one will do it for them. It’s YOUR business, not a J-O-B with a boss telling you what to do.
Great video!

That’s hilarious. We must have been on the same wavelength then. Very cool.

That’s what I am talking about!
Nicely done Jerome.
You were very enthusiastic and if
someone is looking for a business
and watches this video, they are
opting-in.
Oh yeah and you gave great tips…
everyone thinks about quitting, it’s
the ones that don’t are the winners
in this industry.

Hey Tommy,
If you’re not enthusiastic about what you do, then why even bother. Seriously, right.
Jerome Ratliff
Hey Jerome,
Great tips! Plug them in!! That’s key!
I also liked when you said that if they are more comfortable using another system (like old-school network marketing) you’ll support that. That’s really cool, because a lot of sponsors are opposed to their “new babies” using anything else than their tried and proven method.
But like you and I both know, one size does NOT fit all. I leave my new distributors a choice on how they want to build their business, but I do recommend that they are plugged in to company training and product information. What they do with that information in the end is up to them. It’s THEIR business.
I hope this makes sense.
Have an awesome evening!

Hey Ilka,
Seems we have a lot of similarities. That’s very cool. The more adverse skills and approaches we can have in our business, the more exposure we will get.
Have a great day,

I really enjoyed your video Jerome. You come across as warm and confident, exactly what a new team member requires from a sponsor.
Having a system that can train your new team members to duplicate your success is essential.
I look to attract like-minded people to join me because it makes the process a whole lot easier but having a system that accounts for diversity means you won’t exclude those who may duplicate success in a different way. Great idea.

Thanks Marcus.
Absolutely, attracting like-minded people makes it much easier to work with people. After all, we want to make this business easy, not difficult.

Jerome, you hit the nail on the head my friend. Holding a new distributor’s hand for the first few weeks, even months is critical because this is period of the “rollercoaster ride” of emotions.
Take care,

Holding their hand intially can really get them off to a great start. People totally appreciate this. So, why not do it.

If we take this approach, there can’t be any excuses like “you never told me this”. Besides, it really helps them.

Hey Jerome,
I definitely agree that some close work in the early stages of a relationship is key to longevity in their business. Failing to do this will result in a ton of turn over. Most people feel overwhelmed.
Eric
Hey Eric,
It doesn’t have to be all that much either. Just enough to get them rolling.
Jerome Ratliff
Hey Jerome,
I enjoyed seeing your smiling face on video.
That was a great reminder for me today. I was just talking with a brand new distributor and this video reminded me of a tool I really relied on when I started out, but not so much anymore. I need to share that with her.
Plugging people in is crucial to their success. Some people won’t plug themselves in, but giving them all the tools they need is a must.
Thanks for the great vid!
Susanna
Plugging them is one we as sponsor should not forget to do and you’re right, some will chose to not plug themselves in, but at least we are doing our share providing the guidance.

100% agree with you here.
You have to get new reps up to speed ASAP, and plugging them into a training system is a great way to do that.
