What’s the single best way to bring in more visitors to your website, have people pursue you, and be a well oiled business building machine?
I’ll give you a hint – It’s something you can do and say, online or offline to easily have people attracted to you.
Before we let the secret out of the bag, let’s talk about the different ways we can integrate this approach with our blog, website, meetings, phone calls, in person interviews, etc.
Successful business builders have been using this approach since the dawn of the day.
There’s nothing new about this approach, other than not enough people are using it.
It has been known to help sell your customers in buying your products, without having to express what’s in it.
It has also been known to help millions of business builders to bring in more qualified prospects into the business.
It has also been known to help attract the person you highly desire.
It has also been known to help land the perfect client and very successful joint ventures.
Did you figure it out?
I know! I kept you waiting long enough.
The Top Secret Business Building Tip is…
Telling a story!
If we were to look at copywriting, what is its purpose? To tell a story that people can easily relate to.
If we were to look at blogging, what is its purpose? To tell a story and help other people.
If we were to look at how to successfully enlist (wait, is this army? LOL) a new distributor, how would you go about it? Tell a story so they will know if this business can work for them.
If we were to look at how to successfully get a new customer, what would they like to know? They would want to hear a story of how it has worked for someone else.
You’ve heard the old saying, “Facts tell and stories sell.”
A story says so much. There are feelings, emotions, opinions that are invoked when hearing a story.
This business building tip’s soul purpose is to create rapport so that people know, like, and trust who they are going to do business with.
Now to make sure a story works, there is a certain way it needs to be told.
For example, you have a prospect that is interested in their health and they want to lose a little weight. Thankfully your in the right business. Otherwise, can you imagine…
Ok, right off the bat you know what your prospect wants.
Do you think they want to hear about what is in the product that is going to make them lose weight? 99% of the people will not.
What they want to know is has this worked for anyone else and can it work for them. This is the point where you reach into your testimonies and find the one they can relate to.
The story should be a little like this…”I don’t know if it will work for you, but Betty from California struggled with her weight her entire life. She tried product after product and got no results. After trying product x, she has lost 20 lbs in 2 months and she’s on her way to reaching her target weight.”
Plug in whatever language you’d like. It doesn’t have to be word for word like how I have it above, but what it should portray are feelings, emotions and opinions all that will make your prospect relate and for them to take action.
I suggest to learn about copywriting. It will help you online and offline.
This business building tip will help you bring in more customers and sign up more distributors.
You will have become so attractive that people will want what you have.
What’s a special story you’d like to share with us that helped you enrolled a customer or distributor?
We look forward to hearing what you have to say.

Hey Jerome
Creatively persuasive copywriting is a highly valuable artform.
Being able to convey a message that sells the product / service / business without the prospect even realizing that was its purpose is a great skill to have.
I regularly follow some great copywriters so I can pick up some tips. I have also invested in copywriting courses.
And I have to say…they have made me more attractive.

You just can’t get away from the simple things that never stop working. People make this marketing thing too complicated.
Whats more simple than telling a story that people relate to, then connecting with them on a personal level, and building a relationship.
From there, people will always do business with whom they like and trust.
Elementary…? Hmm.
Point well taken big J.

Hey Jonathan,
You’re absolutely right, it doesn’t have to be complicated. However, we tend to do that a lot.
If we just focused on these simple things, like our story as an example, we are likely to build long lasting relationships.
Have a great day buddy,
Jerome Ratliff
Hi Jerome,
It’s simple and true; people love a good story. This is why books and movies are so popular. They have a story to tell which taps into human emotions. Since we are emotional creatures we can’t resist a good story. Share a nice little enchanting success story about your business and watch how quickly people are drawn to the real-ness of what you have to offer.
Excellent timeless advice Jerome!

Hey Jerome, good point..
All great network marketing companies have their web pages full with testimonials, on video or written, with people telling and explaining how that opportunity helped them in reaching their goal. Its great, cause every individual have his own way of presenting the story, so many different people can relate to it and start trusting.

Telling stories used to be the most effective way to teach in ancient times. And like you say is so very relevant today. Stories start connections and can stir up emotions that lifeless advertisement and spams just can’t. It is a long lost art and one that we should relearn to help connect and build our relationships and business.

I wrote about two paragraphs and when I submitted it didn’t go through, so I have

I am very impressed with The Copywriting Guild, awesome information. It really does

my writing skills.
I have a pretty cool story that really inspires my customers. I played football
in college for a NCAA Division III school and during my junior year I was 265 lbs.
and tore ligaments in my shoulder. A few years later, after letting myself go and breaking my back in an accident, I was able to take the weight off (210 lbs now) and get my health on track (pain free for almost 3 years).
Thanks for the great content Jerome!

Awesome advice Jerome!
I started out my adult life as a school teacher and I soon learned that the best way to teach kids anything was by way of story telling. Adults are no different, just big kids when it comes to stories and the reason why stories are so effective is because people relate to the emotions expressed.
