Great share Jerome!
I could shore my newsletter up in a few areas which this post pointed out to me. Thanks for the share.
The way I look at it the more value you can provide through your newsletter on a consistent basis the more it will grow. As was mentioned don’t be afraid to be authoritative and ask for a definite call to action.

Nice Jerome,
That was a great article. I’m glad you shared it.
It took me awhile to “find my voice” and I know that hurt my email open rate badly during that time.
A lot of it is practice and time. Keeping your eyes open, and learning from everything you hear, see, read and experience.
Thanks again!

I like how you pout that Susanna. Finding your voice can take a while. I knew it did for me too.
You’re welcome.

Jerome,
I think that I meet 4 out of 5 of the criteria consistently in my Passion 101 monthly newsletter. The fifth is the “call to action” which I could be clearer about. Specifically I’m learning more and more to title my newsletter subjects in more compelling ways. I get about 25-30% open rate, and that’s probably a little higher, as some servers mask email opens. Yet I want way more, as people have double-opted in so they must want what I have on some level.
Thanks so much,
Adam
Hi Adam,
That’s super fantastic. I would love to hear more about what you’re up to. Sounds like you’re doing some great things.
Thanks for your comment.
