Today I shared a special message with our MaverickBusinessBlog.com community on Facebook and I revealed what is the single most important reason for failures in the home business industry.
You can have determination, be persistent, and have great work ethic.
That’s only one part of it.
Here’s the thing…
All of these are great but, if you don’t know how to demand the results you want, then all of these are useless.
What I shared with our Facebook community was how to demand the results you want. This was a very *powerful* message I am extending onto you.
If you want to have this demanding demeanor, then this tip will shift the entire direction of your home business. In order to demand the results you want, then you need to master having…
“POSTURE!”
Posture is how you demand the results you want. It’s how you portray yourself to others. It’s what makes you attractive.
A perfect person who has posture is Anthony Robbins, if you didn’t know, he came out with “Breakthrough” program. Well, watch this clip and pay attention to the amount of posture he has.
Also pay extra attention in how he is able to demand results, but does it in a non-selfish way.
Here’s the video…
Did you pick up on how much posture he had? He exuded with confidence and gave direction where it was needed. Just imagine yourself being Tony Robbins and what it would feel like to have this. It would be nothing short of amazing.
Posture is essential and it’s one thing we highly promote on our Self-Help Made Simple “Like” page.
This is the posture we are talking. What would you do if you were able to have this kind of posture in your life and also in your home business. Your life will never be the same. More people will be drawn to you and want to follow what it is your doing. They will be so curious that it will BLOW your mind.
Did you know…This is what will attract leaders and will get you the results!
I must WARN you though, it may come to you overnight, while others it may take forever. Just know, that in time, you can develop it. Be patient and be persistent. In fact, use imagery to imagine yourself with this kind of posture. Check out this free note we put together to help you imagine >> Untapping Your Potential.
Wow, your life will change as if you were a genie who rubbed your lamp, requested what you wanted, and whalla, it magically appeared.
Because you will have posture, along with the core values of being successful, you can achieve just about anything.
If you want to know how to specifically develop posture withing your home business, and what I shared with our Facebook community, then hop on over here and send me message that says, “I want to know how to demand results.” (BTW – no strings attached.)
I will then share that special message with you.
P.S. If you’re new here, and/or you liked this post, would you mind sharing your take on it, or at least click the Facebook, Twitter, or Digg buttons above? It would be great if you did, plus people may even recognize you and click over to your site. Hint! Hint! ![]()

Hi Jerome,
Great post. A well known cliché comes to mind: “People only see you as you see yourself”.
It’s very important to project the right image to your prospects and come across as a confident leader.
A posture of leadership must prevail throughout your sales funnel and on every inch of internet real estate that you own.
When your prospects begin to trust in your ability as a leader, relationships will begin to build with a potential to put money in your pocket
Thanks for sharing this.

Hey Jerome
Solid post Jerome and a great call to action.
There is nothing wrong when someone tells you what they want and you tell them “this is what you have to do to obtain what you want”.
If they are not willing then they really do not want it.
Posture is how you position yourself in the eyes of those you are communicating with. If you have a posture of someone who knows how to solve their problems then you will be able to demand results from them.
I enjoyed the post Jerome, thanks for the great read.

Hi Jerome,
Great message! It reminds me of a post over at Chris Owen’s Academy with a picture of a kitten looking into a mirror and seeing a lion looking back.
Posture is everything! Believing in yourself is everything! Pushing your limits is everything! All these are qualities of a leader!!

Hey Jerome,
You bring up a great topic. So many will read this and forget it. Do you know what is the number one reason of succeeding in Internet Marketing?
Self-confidence
I think this goes inline with what you are talking about. Having posture with the people you are connecting with.

Jerome,
People can forget just how important your own personal beliefs can be when determining the level of success you achieve in your business, and in your life.
Another old saying that comes to mind is “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re exactly right.”
You’ve got to believe in yourself before anyone else is going to believe in you, and your self-confidence and posture will definitely either attract or repel other people around you.

Great post Jerome. Tony Robbins is still one of my all time favorite motivators.
Coming across with authority in the warmest way possible is a MUST.
I know a fellow marketer who demands that people do exactly what he tells them to when they join him. He asks them for this commitment from the start and tells them that they have to be sure because they only have one chance. It sounds a bit extreme but he and his team have the most extraordinary results.

Jerome,
This is a great reminder to me to work on myself more than my business.
Why because I am the business and the better I am and the better I react and act guess what?
The better the business will be. Not only does Tony Robbins have posture but what a brand his name is synonymous with personal development.
If we can get to that point to be so associated with our niche…wow.

Nice Jerome! Amazing how such a small thing that make such a difference in a person.
I’ve done this myself with something as simple as sitting up in my chair and thinking myself to greatness. Putting yourself in the right frame of mind takes both physical as well as a mental attitude.

Hi Jerome – great article – I like the framing of an aspiration into a ‘demand’ evokes an emotional response. Whilst not everyone’s a fan of NLP or Anthony Robbins’ hugely effective variation – there’s no doubt in my mind that POSTURE absolutely matters.
Posture conveys mindset and attitude. People are attracted to an energetic -quick tempo -assertive and congruent body movement – and are mostly repelled or at least unmotivated by the opposite -lethargy -cynical and slow moving
Great food for thought
cheers Kiaran
Hi Kiaran,
Wow buddy, you hit the head on the nail in what it means to have posture.
Jerome Ratliff
Hi Jerome,
The toughest thing about posture is how do you insulate it from the results and keep maintaining that no matter what the results say.
I think it’s about the choice that you make and you need to make that choice every single day.
My aim is to choose success everyday irrespective of the result that I had on the previous day. I’m not yet there, but am surely on my way.
Cheers

Great post, there is so much truth is “acting as-if,” just like they say in the movie Boiler Room.
Your have to act as if you are confindent in the work that you do and the services that you are about to provide for your customers, not in a fake way, but just that you REALLY believe it yourself.

I enjoyed the video Jerome and look forward to catching TR’s new show. Thanks for sharing.
Posture is something I will keep in mind going forward. We live in a universe of attraction and most of what we do occurs on an invisible level when it comes to what people command our attention. Tony has posture down pat. When you watch one of his videos you know the man is an authority and are drawn to what he has to say.
Ryan Biddulph
Cool Ryan.
I watched the show on his site under episode #1. So, if you want to catch it there, you can.

That was a great post and a great example! I like how you said he exuded confidence but in a non-selfish way. People can see right through you when you are taking advantage of them or when you don’t have any confidence. They can hear it in your voice and see it in your body language. Having posture is essential to having success and it does take time to develope it.

Hey Jerome,
Thanks for sharing the info on Breakthrough with Tony Robbins.
Posture was one of the biggest things I had to work on when I started. Before I came online I gradually learned this lesson by accident.
Some of it comes naturally as you GROW YOURSELF, as you develop and learn, you gain confidence and it shows.
Some of it takes a more conscious effort. All of it has a massive affect on your business.
Thanks for sharing this!
Susanna
Hi Susanna,
You made a perfect point, “as you grow yourself”. Having this posture is a natural progression as you develop yourself – that’s what people need to be aware of.
Because right now people are thinking, “this can’t be me.” Well, it can be.
Especially if they know what it will take to get them to that point.
What an excellent comment you left. Thanks!

Great post Jerome,
Tony Robbins is one of my favorite leaders. In order to show great posture, you have to believe in yourself. No one will believe in you if you don’t believe in yourself.
Self belief is a powerful weapon. You must nurture your self belief by challenging yourself to grow and get results.
You must challenge the fear of failure and realize that there is no such thing as failure, only results. Yes, it will take some time to build self belief, but anything worth having and developing always does.
Sharing the knowledge,

This certainly is an overlooked characteristic to develop in the business world, so great stuff for bringing it to our attention.
